A system for collecting and compacting sawing chips to simplify recycling, transport and remelting.
Process role#
The aluminum chip collection and briquetting system links loose-chip collection at the sawing station with compaction and downstream handling. Extraction, a briquetting press and chain-plate discharge conveying can form one material path. Extraction is selected for chip load, duct length and pressure loss, while briquette collection follows the plant recycling route.
Operating sequence#
- Collect aluminum chips at the sawing station and transfer them to the collection stage.
- Feed the collected chips to the briquetting stage for compacted handling.
- Move briquettes to the downstream receiving point through the configured discharge conveyor.
Key technical data#
| Extraction arrangement | Cyclone or fan extraction arrangements can be discussed; selection depends on the chip sources and duct-network calculation. |
|---|---|
| Control and discharge | PLC sequence control and chain-plate conveying from the press discharge to the receiving point can be configured. |
Information required for selection#
- Number of saws, billet diameter, alloy and chip generation rate
- Chip form, lubricant and any mixed material
- Collection-point locations, duct route, length and elevation changes
- Required briquette form, receiving container and downstream recycling method
- Available space, electrical supply and existing saw-line control interfaces
