Integrated Automatic Aluminum Dross Processing System

An integrated system for hot-dross processing and metal recovery in aluminum casting shops, connecting separation, controlled cooling, size reduction, classification and fume extraction.

Process role
#

Hot or cold dross enters the relevant recovery stage, then transfers to cooling, size reduction, classification or collection according to the configured process route.

The system is configured around the continuous path from furnace-side hot-dross transfer to classified discharge. After molten aluminum is separated from the dross, the remaining material moves through controlled cooling, size reduction and screening, reducing manual transfer between high-temperature stages.

Operating sequence
#

  1. Transfer hot dross from the furnace area into the enclosed processing station.
  2. Use a lifting and rotating agitator to support separation of molten aluminum from dross.
  3. Move the remaining material into a rotating drum for controlled external cooling.
  4. Reduce, screen and collect the cooled material by the required size fractions.
