Integrated Aluminum Dross Processing Machine

Integrates dross charging, mixing and discharge in one main unit to reduce manual transfer of hot dross, with feeding, capacity and line interfaces configured to site conditions.

Process role
#

The integrated machine combines hot-dross charging, processing and separated discharge at one station. A lifting and rotating agitator supports separation of molten aluminum from dross before the two material paths leave the unit.

Operating sequence
#

  1. Transfer hot dross into the processing station with a handling method matched to the site.
  2. Lower and rotate the agitator through the material to support molten-metal separation.
  3. Collect molten aluminum through its dedicated outlet and transfer the remaining dross to cooling or downstream processing.

Key technical data
#

Process boundaryHot-dross charging, agitated separation, molten-aluminum collection and dross discharge at one processing station.
Interface definitionFeed method, molten-aluminum outlet, dross discharge and fume-extraction connections are configured to the site layout.

Configurable scope
#

  • Fork-bucket, hopper or other mechanical feed connection
  • Molten-aluminum collection and mechanical dross-transfer interfaces
  • Processing enclosure, local fume capture, guarding and electrical interlocks

Information required for selection
#

  • Hot-dross source, temperature range, batch mass and generation frequency
  • Material metal content, particle size and agglomeration condition
