Laser Marking System

A laser marking system for applying batch, specification or traceability information to billets and related products.

Process role
#

Billets move from storage and separation through controlled feeding, processing, identification, chip handling and finished-product logistics.

Performs the relevant billet storage, loading, cut-to-length sawing, marking, chip recovery, conveying or stacking operation, with interfaces to homogenizing furnaces and downstream extrusion logistics.

Configurable scope
#

  • Billet storage, alignment, separation and loading
  • Controlled feeding, processing and length-positioning functions
  • Identification, chip handling and finished-product conveying
  • Safety guarding, PLC control and upstream/downstream signals
  • Maintenance, lifting and operator-access provisions

Plant interfaces
#

Confirm billet arrival, finished-product destination, conveyor elevations, crane access, chip route, electrical supply and upstream/downstream control signals.

Information required for selection
#

Provide billet alloy, diameter and length range, cut list, shift output, loading method, finished-product destination, plant logistics and control interfaces to define cycle time, automation and supply scope.
